Hello everyone,

     When i use Software Updates to automatically download Office 2003 SP3, it gives me this error "Auto download of software updates failed. Please check your browser settings or do a manual download." Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? I don't have any problems with my internet connection. I can access sites successfully. Pls help. I have manually downloaded the Office SP3(exe), can you give me some sample command line switches on how to install this through sms 2003 through a package?

When you double-click the executable package, installation begins. To extract the patch files (.msp files), you must use a command line. The command line and instructions are included in the Knowledge Base article (197147): Command-Line Switches For IExpress Software Update Packages.
