I just found this site today and I have to say it's very nice and something I've wanted to see happen for a long time.  Good job!

Maybe this is explained somewhere on this site and I simply missed it, but will it be possible for members to post our own video blogcasts?  Is that possible now?  If it is (or will be) are there guidelines or tips for how best to capture content and what formats, etc are required or preferred?

Any registered user (as you must be to make this post) can upload a video. The only format we accept is .wmv for now, but that may change as we move forward. If you click on the Blogcast navigational link, then choose a category, you should see a Iliad button. You can go from there as it's fairly straight forward I think. If you have questions, let me know.

Remember, the category you upload to will be where the video is shown and held. Don't upload a SCOM video into SCCM or else you can't move it after unless you delete it and add it back. Uploads take some time so be patient.
