I managed to install MD on WS08 RC0 today, but that's about it.  Trying to download required components within the MD workbench, such as WAIK and MSXML 6, USMT 3.0.1, all fail.  Actually, USMT will download, but installation fails with a strange "contact your administrator" error, referencing id 1722.  No more detail in the log files or the event log unfortunately.  WAIK won't even download.  Gets to 2% and says "Error".  No details logged anywhere I can find.  MSXML installed, but only because I downloaded it outside of the MD console.  The server is a physical box, 32-bit Intel CPU with 1GB RAM.  200+ GB free on C:.  400+ GB free on second physical drive also.  Using as a home server.  Works fine in all other respects.  Anyone else tried installing MD on WS08 and had similar (or better) results?
