    Primary and Secondry Sites

Hi there, I have currently setup sccm 2007, I have my Primary site up and running 100%. I have now added a secondary site, and the setup seemed to have completed correctly. I need some assistance in configuring the secondary site. In my boundaries on Main site I have added an AD based boundary that relates to the main site. In my boundaries on secondary site I have added an AD based boundary relating to the secondary site. Is this correct so far?

The next step is the client discovery, on my main site I have "active directory system group discovery" enabled and working. On my secondary site, I do not see this option in discovery methods. Sccm 2007 is not picking up the computers in the secondary site.

If anyone could help me out with documentation on how to configure a secondary site, and client discovery on the new site I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks

    Re: Primary and Secondry Sites

Did you setup an address on both servers pointing to each other? Is each server an admin to the other server? You should see all things above come down the hierarchy. Other than that, sounds like you have your boundaries setup. As lond as the AD sites are not overlapping with subnets between the primary and secondary site.
