    How can I install SMS on a server and SQL SMS DB on a different machines.  I get the following error "Cannot connect to SQL Server XXXXX using integrated security.  Make sure that the SQL Server is using integrated security and your logon account has sa rights to the SQL Server". I have made SMS SIte server member of the SQL server admin group and I am using advanced security.

    I have not tried that yet with SQL 2005. Let me see if I have time to try that this week. I assume you are using SMS 2003 SP3? Just want to make sure I have the right version before I test it.

    I am using SMS 2003 SP2 with SQL 2005 on different box.
