Could someone tell me what shoud be consider first when enable Fall Back Status Point and keep it working?

    Hi

My SCCM site work correctly, except one thing that the Fall Back Status Point doesn't generate error msg. But actually there are many client could not be contact during network problem.

Could anyone be farmilar with FBSP? I need some thinking of T-S, thanks.

We're not using the Fallback Status Point, however....you cannot have the FBSP role on the same server as the MP.

The FBSP is created so that your new sccm clients are alble to send status message to that server in case it has issue installing, communication, updating with the SCCM site .

Sms 2003 clients dont send status message to the FBSP. They are not able to do that. When in mixed mode it allows the client to send error message when it has issue with th certificate based configuration.

Install on different server than the MP. Hope this helps understand.
